Diane’s Books cares deeply about children everywhere and our holiday Angel Tree is our most important piece of giving back to the community, that has made our store such a success, through the magic of books.
We have been giving local children the gift of reading for over 25 years. Last year 500 children from Hamilton Avenue School, Julian Curtiss School and New Lebanon School received a hard cover, gift wrapped book for the holidays.
For each selection we choose age-appropriate books, gift wrap them and send them to the school. We work carefully with the schools to make sure each and every book we hand select is perfect for each and every individual child.
The children look forward to this every year and we love to receive their beautiful handwritten, illustrated thank you letters.
